Raingoose is a beautiful house with traditional Orkney stone frontage and Welsh slate roof. It commands stunning, uninterrupted views over the Bay of Ireland to the Hoy Hills, arguably one of the best vistas in Orkney. Set in its own large garden, Raingoose is just a stone's throw away from the grassy access path to the beautiful, secluded shoreline of the Bay of Ireland.
Sleeping up to six people, it offers modern amenities with incredible panoramic views through the picture windows. Raingoose is less than four miles from Orkney's famous Archaeological World Heritage sites and the fishing lochs of Harray and Stenness.
After taking in the fresh air on the nearby beaches, hills and countryside, snuggle up next to the multi-fuel stove whilst soaking in the Orkney scenery!
Pine Trees
Sleeps 2 - Dog friendly - Child friendly
Pine Trees Bothy is a bright, beautifully designed self-catering cottage, tranquil and relaxing and in an area of outstanding beauty. The old bothy has been converted and extended to provide luxurious accommodation for two people, although the bedroom is suitable for a family of 3. In its previous life, the original Bothy was a farm worker’s cottage and grain store in the 19th Century and in recent years my Art Studio. It still retains original Orkney stone frontage.
Soak up the idyllic woodland scene through the large patio doors towards the Bay and Hoy Hills. Pine Trees is just over 100 metres away from the grassy access path to the beautiful, secluded shoreline of the Bay of Ireland and less than four miles from Orkney's famous Archaeological World Heritage sites and the fishing lochs of Harray and Stenness.
If you wish to cosy in for a week of relaxation or venture out to see the sights, this is the perfect base for your stay on Orkney!
